The Copper Fox Gallery.

Work by more than 90 craftspeople, most from Tennessee and the states around it: pottery, glass, wood, metal, jewelry, leather and furniture, in an 1889 house with a copper roof. John and Talbott Grimm have owned it since 2016; David and Lisa Fox opened it in 2012.

Restaurant

The Country Boy.

The diner Rosalie and Donley Mealer opened across the road from the grocery in 1968. It closed in 2022 when its septic system failed and reopened under Johnny Weber and Cam Harrington late in 2023, serving breakfast and lunch every day and dinner three nights, with the Tornado Room in the basement.

Music venue

The Tornado Room.

A cocktail bar in the Country Boy's basement since 2024, down a stair on the outside of the building, with bourbon and rye, two free sets of music a night from Thursday to Saturday, and a fire pit out back.

Music venue

Fox & Locke.

The store Jack Fox and Martin Locke opened in 1947 and moved into this building in 1955, Puckett's Grocery from 1960 to 2022, and since then a meat-and-three, grill and music room under its founders' names again. Bands play Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights, and the Thursday open mic draws songwriters out from Nashville.

Event venue

Lawnchair Theatre.

A screen and a lawn behind Leiper's Creek Gallery where the village brings its own chairs, for free summer movies and ForkFest. Who runs it is not published, and neither is the 2026 film schedule.
