The village on the National Register: three blocks of houses, churches and stores from about 1830 to 1935 north of Old Hillsboro Road, listed in 1998, and the 4000 block of the road itself, added in 2012 with the grocery that is now Fox & Locke, the Country Boy and the gas station that became Leiper's Creek Gallery. About 40 acres, free to walk.
David Arms Gallery.
The painter David Arms's own gallery, which he calls the Studio in Leiper's Fork: his originals, and notecards, glassware and books made from his work. In 2024 he moved here from the barn a few doors away where he had opened in 2011, into a building he designed, with back windows over Leiper's Creek.
Bubble Joy.
Kettle fudge, candy by the quarter pound and a bar of craft sodas with popping boba, plus mocktails and a taffy bar, at the Shops at Leiper's Corner. The owners, Jason and deMarco, doubled the shop in 2026.
Moo Country.
Western clothing, boots, hats, jewelry and home goods from Dawn Ann Ritter, who opened here in 2018 and has a second store in Bozeman, Montana.
PROPS Leiper's Fork.
Antiques, vintage clothing, neon signs and collectibles, with candy and local goods, at the Shops at Leiper's Corner. It also keeps a showroom at the Round Top antiques show in Texas, and holds Pickin' Leiper's Fork, a three-day antiques show, each November.
Tennessee Turquoise Company.
Vintage silver and turquoise jewelry, most of it made by Native American artists and bought from dealers in the West, sold from a cabin that holds four customers at a time. Morgane Stapleton opened it in July 2019, and every sale supports the National Indigenous Women's Resource Center.
Patina Home & Garden.
Antiques, linens, home goods and garden things from the designer Brooke Giannetti and the architect Steve Giannetti, in the village's 1914 general store since October 2022. Fox and Locke opened their first store in this building in 1947.
Erica Birch Home.
Art, fabric by the yard, furniture, lamps, antiques and gifts, from a design shop a wife and husband run, with Gilyn McKelligon leading the design. It seems to have opened late in 2025; no opening was announced.
