Kids Arts Festival 2027
Saturday, March 20, 2027, at Bicentennial Park.
- What it is
- A one-day festival of children’s art: young singers, dancers, actors and poets on stage, a juried exhibit of students’ work from kindergarten to 12th grade, and hands-on art stops run by local businesses and groups. In 2026 there were two stages and more than 20 activity vendors.
- When it runs
- In 2026 it ran from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The city has not posted 2027’s hours.
- Where to park
- The city publishes no parking details. Bicentennial Park, at 400 5th Ave. North, has room for more than 300 cars, the Williamson Herald reported.
- What it costs
- Free, according to Visit Franklin; the city’s own pages do not give a price. Food trucks sell on site, and young artists sell their work at the festival’s art sale.
- The history
- The festival has run every year since 2015 except 2020 and 2021, and the 2026 festival was billed as its 10th. A 2017 Downtown Franklin listing credits City of Franklin Parks and the Williamson County Cultural Arts Commission as its founders. It moved to Bicentennial Park in 2026 after years at Pinkerton Park.
